Lightbox Anything Plugin

What the plugin is:

Lightbox Anything is a plugin from SQSP Themes that allows you to make any element into a “lightbox” link. A “lightbox” link, essentially, makes the chosen element a pop-up link.

How we used it here:

For The Learning Loop and the Shannon template (coming soon), we used the Lightbox Anything Plugin to showcase the different formats that services are available as. Because the original design included services for:

• 3 different demographics (school age students, adult learners, & educators)

• 3 different subjects (literacy support, math support, writing support)

all available in 2 different formats (1:1 and group study), we wanted to make all of the options clear to visitors, without visual overwhelm. By making use of the Lightbox Anything Plugin & the Universal Filter menu, we were able to organize the offerings in a way that helps website visitors narrow down available services based on their own needs. The Lightbox Anything Plugin allows the visitor to see immediately what options are available to them in regards to how the services are formatted, and can then click in to learn more if they need to–without that information taking up unnecessary space on the page.
